There’s a number of reasons to spend a lot of time gaming, the main one being that it’s fun, but even if you don’t play that much, you might still spend many hours at your PC, so you want your station to be as comfortable as possible. In this case, a recliner gaming chair is a must-have.
There are times when you just need a short break, lean your back, close your eyes with your favorite song in the headphones and relax.
Finding a compromise between comfort and gaming experience isn’t too hard, when you know what you’re looking for. The choice, however, is another story.
We’ve looked into this and selected 4+1 models of recliner gaming chair that might do. Here’s our selection.
Respawn 110 Racing Style
One of the most popular recliner gaming chairs, mainly because of its quality/price ratio. Adjustable height from 19.25 to 22.5 inches and a 90 to 155 reclining angle, and it comes with a footrest.
It’s comfortable even when you stand, thanks to the padding on the armrests and the two pillows in the lumbar and head & neck areas, which means you’ll have a great time relaxing when you recline the chair and lay down.
It supports up to 275 pounds of weight, which is a bit lower than average, but it’s still a decent capacity.
Price: $199.99 on Amazon.
If you’re looking for a bit of extra support, however, we’ve got a very similar alternative for you. Keep reading. 👇
Homall S-Racer
Features are quite similar to the Respawn, but there are a few pros and cons to consider.
The height adjusting range is 17.3 to 21.5 inches and the reclining angle goes from 90 degrees to 150, however, there’s no footrest, but it’s got padded armrests and lumbar and head pillows. The weight capacity of this recliner gaming chair is 300 pounds, so a bit more than its aforementioned lookalike. Materials, however, don’t look as durable. It’s not a surprise that it comes at a cheaper price.
Price: $119.99 on Amazon.
Xzeal Z10B
When you’re extremely tired and you just want to stare at the ceiling, you need a 180 degrees reclining chair, which this model does provide. The metal base gives it a very sturdy appearance, in fact, it supports up to 350 pounds of weight.
Armrests are adjustable, as well as the height (up to 23.5 inches), and it comes with a lumbar cushion and a headrest. In spite of its solid look, it’s very light and easy to move around. Unfortunately, there’s no footrest.
Price: $179.99 on Amazon.
Von Racer 8352
If you enjoy a little rest on your chair, imagine having also a massage. That’s the main feature of this recliner gaming chair. It only reclines up to 120 degrees and only supports up to 250 pounds of weight, but the USB-powered massage function definitely makes up for it.
It comes with a footrest and adjustable lumbar and head cushions, and materials are top-notch, from the heavy duty metal parts to the dense foam inside. Fairly priced, great comfort.
Price: $149.99 on Amazon.
Bonus: X-Rocker Surge
This is the +1 of our list. Not a conventional recliner gaming chair, as it’s a floor chair, so it can be reclined, even though it doesn’t have a measurable reclining angle.
We wanted to include it because it’s arguably one of the most comfortable gaming chairs on the market and allows you to relax and play for many hours without getting tired.
Also, remember when we mentioned listening to music with your headphones on? Well, you don’t need to, with your X-Rocker, because this chair comes with a 2.1 bluetooth speakers system, which, let’s face it, makes a difference in terms of gaming experience.
Price: $189.99 on Amazon.
It’s also available in our Gamers Mystery Box.
